The Broodmares of Dapple Stud
Foaling season is an exciting time of year in the Thoroughbred Industry. It takes a foal about an hour from birth to stand and nurse, and another two hours for it to stretch its legs and run with the mare. Dapple breeders have the perfect excuse to see their newborn foals romping through the Kentucky pasture when the dogwood trees bloom in April.
